Northern Hearts has created the Dr. Chris Lai Recognition Award in recognition of his significant contributions to improving cardiac health care in Northwestern Ontario over the last 30 years.
The Dr. Chris Lai Recognition Award is intended to provide financial support for a 4th year NOSM University student interested in pursuing a medical career in cardiology while residing in Northwestern Ontario. The $1000 award will be given to a 4th year NOSM student annually over the next 5 years.
