
Healthy Heart Day
February is Heart Month and to bring awareness to heart health, Northern Hearts and the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre (Support Services) collaborated to offer Healthy Heart Day in Thunder Bay on Saturday, February 22nd.
Over 65 participants attended the daylong event at the Thunder Bay 55 Plus Centre that featured presentations by health professionals on many aspects of heart disease to help educate the audience on risk factors associated with the disease and remedies for prevention.
