COVID-19 and Your Heart
Dr. Chris Lai, a local cardiologist, provided an informative presentation on the various impacts that COVID-19 has had on the heart. He provided research into the role that COVID-19 and vaccines have had on the heart and provided insights into why some individuals may suffer more severe impacts on their heart from the virus.
Dr. Lai’s presentation was part of Northern Hearts “Virtual Talk with Doc” series, provided free of charge in an effort to provide the public with educational resources to reduce the impact of heart disease in Northwestern Ontario.
